2016 ILYA Pinot Noir is a smart medium weighted wine displaying bright red hues and good depth of colour with aromas of intense cherry and red berry fruits, reminiscent of plum compote. Faint vanilla notes linger in the background. The palate has rich flavours of cherry, plum, spice and a hint of oak. Subtle tannins provide length and poise. Matured in fine grained French oak for 9 months. Enjoy now or cellar 5-8 years.
